Desde hace años he estado fascinado con el Kilimanjaro. Posiblemente desde que leí el famoso relato de Ernest Hemingway. Pues bien ahora a principios de Junio voy a hacer el Trek a las famosas cumbres del Kilimanjaro con un gran amigo mío, Angel. Un gran reto que unimos al reto aún mayor por una buena causa.
Nos sumamos al proyecto "mi grano de arena" y vamos a subir al Kilimanjaro por Cris contra el Cáncer
Nuestra meta es recaudar 3,000 € en donaciones para seguir apoyando la investigación contra el cáncer y nos gustaría pedir vuestro apoyo para Fundación Cris para la investigación contra el Cáncer

La labor de investigación que hace CRIS contra el cáncer es única. Al cáncer hay que conquistarlo y la manera de hacerlo es con inversión en investigación. Hillary dijo al conquistar el Everest que ‘no conquistamos la montaña sino a nosotros mismos’. Pues bien quizás con el grano de arena que pueda aportar cada uno en nuestras pequeñas ‘conquistas’, llegue el día en el cual podamos decir que al cáncer se la ha ‘conquistado’. La vida de mucha gente querida depende de ello.
Trekking against Cancer for CRIS Cancer Research
For years I have been fascinated with Kilimanjaro. Possibly since I read Ernest Hemingway’s famous short story. Now, in early June I will be doing the Trek to the famous ‘snows of Kilimanjaro’ with my great friend Angel. A great challenge that we add to an even bigger challenge for a great cause.
We are adding our challenge to the ‘migranodearena’ (every little helps) project so that we can trek to Kilimanjaro for CRIS against Cancer. Our aim is to generate 3,000€ of donations so that we can continue funding research against cancer. ¿Will you help?
Every little help is important. The challenge against cancer is large so no matter how small the contribution, it will all add up to funding research against cancer.

PS The work in research that CRIS does against cancer is invaluable and with tangible results. We can beat cancer and the way to do it is through funding research. Edmund Hillary said on conquering Everest 'it is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves’. Well perhaps then, with every little help that we get from our small ‘conquests’, we might find that the day will arrive when we can say that we have ‘conquered’ cancer. The life of many loved ones depends on it.
La Fundación de investigación CRIS CONTRA EL CÁNCER es una organización independiente y sin ánimo de lucro dedicada al fomento y desarrollo de la investigación para eliminar el grave problema de salud que representa el cáncer.
Asociación Contra el Cáncer. En España estamos aún lejos de los países de nuestro entorno en términos de financiación en la lucha contra el cáncer. Sabemos del potencial de nuestra comunidad científica y por ello, con ambición pero conscientes de la responsabilidad que tenemos, queremos dotarles de los medios necesarios.
